An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Rodings in the 23rd minute of play forced lyptus's goalkeeper Paul Minert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paul Minert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arne Rodings went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Wladimir Stuhaug made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicklas Kieme in the 26th minute. Tony Heiselberg's late challenge caught a Team LH-DT's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tony Heiselberg helped the player get up and apologised. Nicky Buurskov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wladimir Stuhaug read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Frands Stensved blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wladimir Stuhaug having to make a save. Nicklas Kieme helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th match minute, lyptus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicklas Kieme to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicklas Kieme to make the kick off. A collision led to Team LH-DT getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Nigel Hamza hit a great ball. Wladimir Stuhaug came out of the goal and Nicky Buurskov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Frands Stensved managed to get in a good position for a shot. lyptus's supporters rose to their feet, but Frands Stensved was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wladimir Stuhaug breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Nicklas Kieme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wladimir Stuhaug was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Tony Heiselberg kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Nicky Buurskov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute Nicklas Kieme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wladimir Stuhaug saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Nicklas Kieme had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wladimir Stuhaug. Team LH-DT's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicklas Kieme was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. When the referee ended the match the lyptus players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
