Menios Fitrakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Sigurt Ashton made a huge save. Olof Nytrup kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Lennart Krejbøl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Sigurt Ashton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 23rd minute, Thomas Kristman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sigurt Ashton was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Lennart Krejbøl received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sigurt Ashton came out and tried to block the shot, but Lennart Krejbøl slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 29th minute. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Thomas Kristman took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Sigurt Ashton to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Menios Fitrakis got free with Sigurt Ashton in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lennart Krejbøl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigurt Ashton having to interfere. Sigurt Ashton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Menios Fitrakis in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Kristman in the 42nd minute of play forced Skovsgaarde's goalkeeper Sigurt Ashton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sigurt Ashton didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 45th minute, which inside left pole to 6-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 69th minute Lennart Krejbøl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sigurt Ashton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sigurt Ashton was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sigurt Ashton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 93 minutes into the match, Lennart Krejbøl had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sigurt Ashton. Skovsgaarde's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lennart Krejbøl was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. Menios Fitrakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Sigurt Ashton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
