In the 10th minute, Walter Pentz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute, Taus Brønfort got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabian Finman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taus Brønfort in the 16th minute of the match. A collision led to FC Alsted getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ricky Arngren hit a great ball. Joakim Twietmeyer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabian Finman having to make a save. When Romário Mineiro came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the FC Alsted fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romário Mineiro couldn't finish the play. Niko Børsum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Finman having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Ebbe Sand got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Calle Brandsdorf hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Ebbe Sand's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nikolas Sandkær read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Joakim Twietmeyer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Taus Brønfort was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niko Børsum in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabian Finman saved FC Alsted from getting behind. After 52 played minutes FC Alsted got a freekick which was hit by Walter Pentz. Fabian Finman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taus Brønfort, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 59th minute, Niko Børsum got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romário Mineiro in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nikolas Sandkær prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Niko Børsum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute Romário Mineiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikolas Sandkær saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Depeche Mode's Taus Brønfort in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Alsted's goalie prevented a goal. Depeche Mode's Calle Brandsdorf pulled a muscle in his back after 76 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Depeche Mode made a substitution. Asbjørn Mandal replaced Calle Brandsdorf. After having played for 80 minutes, Kevin Bramvig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Depeche Mode's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Bramvig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
