Nikolas Sandkær came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Røstofte's Menios Fitrakis. But to his dismay, Menios Fitrakis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Kristman in the 19th minute of play forced Depeche Mode's goalkeeper Nikolas Sandkær to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute of the match Røstofte got a corner. Depeche Mode's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Menios Fitrakis ran over to the corner to take the kick. Røstofte's Menios Fitrakis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nikolas Sandkær in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 23 minutes, Thomas Kristman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Røstofte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Kristman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Depeche Mode's zone, Menios Fitrakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikolas Sandkær came out of the goal and Menios Fitrakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Thomas Kristman came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Røstofte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomas Kristman couldn't finish the play. Thomas Kristman took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nikolas Sandkær. Nikolas Sandkær dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After 39 played minutes Depeche Mode got a freekick which was hit by Morgan Naadested. 45 minutes into the match, Depeche Mode's goal looked a bit too open when Menios Fitrakis came free, but Nikolas Sandkær reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Menios Fitrakis in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nikolas Sandkær prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Depeche Mode players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Røstofte were winning 0-3.

In the 53rdth minute of the game Thomas Kristman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Depeche Mode's Nikolas Sandkær was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nikolas Sandkær was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. After having played for 68 minutes, Thomas Kristman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 90th minute, Thomas Kristman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Menios Fitrakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Røstofte's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
