He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Kevin Bramvig in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sigurt Ashton, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Calle Brandsdorf hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Sigurt Ashton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Bramvig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Depeche Mode's Niko Børsum got a free kick in the 45th minute. Kevin Bramvig hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oluf Harpsø made a kick off. In the 57th minute Calle Brandsdorf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sigurt Ashton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calle Brandsdorf in the 59th minute of play forced Skovsgaarde's goalkeeper Sigurt Ashton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sigurt Ashton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joakim Twietmeyer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kevin Bramvig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sigurt Ashton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joakim Twietmeyer in the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oluf Harpsø in the 67th minute of play forced Depeche Mode's goalkeeper Nikolas Sandkær to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joakim Twietmeyer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigurt Ashton having to interfere. Andreas Ahrnell kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After 76 played minutes, Depeche Mode's Calle Brandsdorf shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sigurt Ashton came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Depeche Mode reached it. Sigurt Ashton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Bramvig in the 77th minute of play. Diego Strangfeld struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Nikolas Sandkær didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skovsgaarde. When Depeche Mode's Taus Brønfort in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sigurt Ashton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Skovsgaarde's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
