After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Lenny Balstrøm managed to get in a good position for a shot. HB Køge's supporters rose to their feet, but Lenny Balstrøm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kaijo Trumm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. HB Køge were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Porshøj FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lenny Balstrøm took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Lenny Balstrøm got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kaijo Trumm quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, HB Køge's Lavritz Haiberg got a free kick in the 26th minute. Porshøj FC's Tor Nerland got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Berkeley Barclay charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Berkeley Barclay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd match minute, Porshøj FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berkeley Barclay to maneuver through the defense. Rico Balsved made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tor Nerland in the 34th minute. Olaf Polkoski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Rico Balsved tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Morthen Lestorf kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adam Hailand was the one to do the kick off. Kaijo Trumm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adam Hailand in the 52nd minute. After 53 minutes Porshøj FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lenny Balstrøm who took care of the corner kick. Stephen Hildinge made a great header on HB Køge's corner, it was just that Porshøj FC's Kaijo Trumm managed to reach the ball for a save. When Adam Hailand came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the HB Køge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Hailand couldn't finish the play. Olaf Polkoski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rico Balsved having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, HB Køge's goal looked a bit too open when Tor Nerland came free, but Rico Balsved reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tor Nerland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Rico Balsved tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adam Hailand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaijo Trumm having to interfere. HB Køge's Jacob Hellstein was substituted for Stephen Hildinge. Rico Balsved took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olaf Polkoski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Porshøj FC defense, Adam Hailand kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kaijo Trumm. The Porshøj FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kaijo Trumm should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adam Hailand got free with Kaijo Trumm in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Porshøj FC's Kaijo Trumm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Porshøj FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Porshøj FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Ragnar Haström hit a great ball. Porshøj FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing HB Køge to leave the ground with a draw.
