The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jan Hessel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paw Kartin in the 4th minute of the match. ØSTERBRO SPORT CLUB's Eg Graessler got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paw Kartin in the 11th minute of play forced ØSTERBRO SPORT CLUB's goalkeeper Jan Hessel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donald Osbæck kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Ture Gynt shot from long distance in the 13th minute, but Jan Hessel was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. With 20 minutes on the clock, Sonny Duvander commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 21 played minutes ØSTERBRO SPORT CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Sonny Duvander. When Paw Kartin came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Refsgårde IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paw Kartin couldn't finish the play. ØSTERBRO SPORT CLUB's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Paw Kartin scored to the left of an out of position Jan Hessel, making the score, 1-0. Ture Gynt got a throw-in 28 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Kurd Klinkby. Jan Hessel made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Henry Bøgestad sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, ØSTERBRO SPORT CLUB's Jan Hessel got control of the ball when Villy Kenbøl tried to sneak it across the goal line. Henry Bøgestad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With an all-out effort, Refsgårde IF's Jan Hessel threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Paw Kartin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 38 minutes into the match, ØSTERBRO SPORT CLUB's goalkeeper Jan Hessel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henry Bøgestad. In the 38th minute, Constantin Lawaetz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paw Kartin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan Hessel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Paw Kartin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Refsgårde IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henry Bøgestad to make the kick off. Donald Osbæck kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Henry Bøgestad left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Refsgårde IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 60 minutes into the match, ØSTERBRO SPORT CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Bøgestad came free, but Jan Hessel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 60 minutes, Henry Bøgestad made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. ØSTERBRO SPORT CLUB's Jan Hessel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Refsgårde IF getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Hauge Leest hit a great ball. After 65 played minutes Refsgårde IF got a freekick which was hit by Charlie Kingo. Sigfrid Herskin fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 67th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. Jan Hessel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paw Kartin's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Henry Bøgestad charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henry Bøgestad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ØSTERBRO SPORT CLUB booed when Refsgårde IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Bøgestad didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ØSTERBRO SPORT CLUB's zone, Paw Kartin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Hessel came out of the goal and Paw Kartin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Bøgestad in the 79th minute of play forced ØSTERBRO SPORT CLUB's goalkeeper Jan Hessel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henry Bøgestad blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jan Hessel having to make a save. Eg Graessler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Sigfrid Vejmand made a huge save. Jan Hessel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Bøgestad in the 86th minute of the match. Jan Hessel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paw Kartin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ØSTERBRO SPORT CLUB's Jan Hessel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Villy Kenbøl in the 88th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Paw Kartin made a precise shot to the right of Jan Hessel. ØSTERBRO SPORT CLUB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Refsgårde IF fully deserved thier win.
