The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Erling Jeilman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Danielsson in the 6th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, FC Høng United's Caspar Rebsdorf ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Erling Jeilman. Erling Jeilman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 21 minutes into the game, Lennart Truesen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Erling Jeilman. Lennart Truesen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Hauge Braasch blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erling Jeilman having to make a save. Caspar Rebsdorf scored 5-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erling Jeilman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Erling Jeilman made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Stephen Ernskov sent off a good shot on target. 33 minutes into the game, Stephen Ernskov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Erling Jeilman. Stephen Ernskov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-0. Hauge Braasch came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Erling Jeilman could save by the left post. Erling Jeilman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stephen Ernskov in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute Lennart Truesen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erling Jeilman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hauge Linow during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hauge Linow kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Lennart Truesen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erling Jeilman having to interfere. In the 46th match minute, FC Høng United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hauge Braasch to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

The wind increased when Svenaage Lisner made the kick off in the second half. Erling Jeilman was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Lennart Truesen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, Stephen Ernskov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Høng United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. If Gerdt Alenkjær had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The supporters of FC Høng United booed when FC Drik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hauge Linow didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 97 minutes, Lennart Truesen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Høng United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lennart Truesen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the FC Høng United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
