In the 17th minute, Carl Foermose hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kayacan Usluer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Schutz in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Sune Aagot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. toledo united's Bruno Schutz got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kayacan Usluer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Schutz's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Birger Adelfred in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kayacan Usluer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kayacan Usluer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuele Di Ruscio, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 48 minutes into the match, Next Generation's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuele Di Ruscio came free, but Kayacan Usluer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Birger Adelfred was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Jokin in the 52nd minute of play forced toledo united's goalkeeper Tiago Freitas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Next Generation's Christoffer Lillienfryd suffered a fractured collar bone after 52 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 52 minutes into the game, Oliver Nyström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. toledo united's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Next Generation the free kick. Next Generation's Matthias Salvie was substituted for Christoffer Lillienfryd. After a rather tough play, toledo united's Oliver Nyström got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Tiago Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sune Aagot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 57 minutes, Birger Adelfred managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. toledo united's supporters crossed their fingers, but Birger Adelfred was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Next Generation's Kayacan Usluer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Schutz in the 63rd minute of play. Reiner Bersabe shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Birger Adelfred took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kayacan Usluer. Kayacan Usluer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Kayacan Usluer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Schutz in the 76th minute of the match. If Balthazar Kokkedal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Birger Adelfred got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Emanuele Di Ruscio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Birger Adelfred blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kayacan Usluer having to make a save. The supporters of toledo united booed when Next Generation was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimir Juelsbjerg didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Balthazar Kokkedal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Balthazar Kokkedal might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kayacan Usluer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Balthazar Kokkedal ran back to his position shaking his head. toledo united's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
