Milton Nickolin's late challenge caught a Helletofte FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gynther Birkekjær in the 35th minute of play forced Helletofte FC's goalkeeper Timo Otterdahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee ignored Helletofte FC's protests and gave Luis Drostø a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd match minute, Helletofte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Drostø to maneuver through the defense. If Gynther Birkekjær had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. After 64 played minutes Langaa got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Vølxen. Gynther Birkekjær's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Timo Otterdahl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Poul Jefsen got in the 75th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Timo Otterdahl handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Langaa's Poul Jefsen got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 89 played minutes Helletofte FC got a freekick which was hit by Torbjørn Weien. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
