Klas Snerle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Peter Henvig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. The corner ended in Klas Snerle almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but YNWA's Peter Henvig did a great save. If Eberhardt Ørsbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Peter Henvig made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Klas Snerle sent off a good shot on target. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by YNWA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Klas Snerle was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Falkenberg's players had a chance to rest. After a defensive mix-up in FC Falkenberg's zone, Thorlejf Arneskov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valder Odevahn came out of the goal and Thorlejf Arneskov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute, Tomasz Golota got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Klas Snerle was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute YNWA were awarded a corner. Tomasz Golota went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led YNWA's Toke Howalt to fire away a dangerous shot which Valder Odevahn despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Eberhardt Ørsbo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Valder Odevahn made a huge save. With splendid footwork Thorlejf Arneskov arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-1 by the left pole in the game's 58th minute. Valder Odevahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thorlejf Arneskov in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thorlejf Arneskov in the 73rd minute of play forced FC Falkenberg's goalkeeper Valder Odevahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FC Falkenberg getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Terkil Bødker hit a great ball. In the 80th minute Thorlejf Arneskov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valder Odevahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thorlejf Arneskov scored 1-2 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valder Odevahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thorlejf Arneskov's late challenge caught a FC Falkenberg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The supporters of YNWA booed when FC Falkenberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigurt Rousing didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 90 played minutes FC Falkenberg got a freekick which was hit by Terkil Bødker. Tomasz Golota charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomasz Golota the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th minute, Henrik Svarthamar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The FC Falkenberg fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. YNWA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
