Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thorlejf Arneskov to make the kick off. Eberhardt Ørsbo's late challenge caught a Bøl SIK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eberhardt Ørsbo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bøl SIK booed when YNWA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eberhardt Ørsbo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Thorlejf Arneskov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. YNWA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thorlejf Arneskov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Thorlejf Arneskov took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Sigfried Byling to make any attempt to save it. Sigfried Byling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thorlejf Arneskov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Thorlejf Arneskov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sigfried Byling was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game.
