In the 12th minute of the match, Thorlejf Arneskov tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Timo Otterdahl saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Timo Otterdahl stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thorlejf Arneskov's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. YNWA's Thorlejf Arneskov got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernhardt Mannsmeier kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Helletofte FC's goal looked a bit too open when Thorlejf Arneskov came free, but Timo Otterdahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toke Howalt in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Timo Otterdahl saved Helletofte FC from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Al Denize was the one to do the kick off. Timo Otterdahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Halling, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. A throw-in in the 54th minute of the game was made by Bernhardt Mannsmeier with Helmuth Godadal as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Eberhardt Ørsbo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thorlejf Arneskov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Timo Otterdahl having to make a save. A collision led to Helletofte FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Edvardt Borreschmidt hit a great ball. Tomasz Golota took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Timo Otterdahl. Helletofte FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Timo Otterdahl didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eberhardt Ørsbo went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 67th match minute, Helletofte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georg Heldager to maneuver through the defense. Helletofte FC's Timo Otterdahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thorlejf Arneskov in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute of the match YNWA got a corner. Helletofte FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomasz Golota ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Helletofte FC's goalie and right to Bertel Bjerrestrand. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Helletofte FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Helletofte FC's goalkeeper Timo Otterdahl, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 76thth minute of the game Thorlejf Arneskov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Helletofte FC's Timo Otterdahl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When YNWA's Thorlejf Arneskov in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Helletofte FC's goalie prevented a goal. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Helletofte FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomasz Golota was slow to take the kick. During this time YNWA's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Tomasz Golota got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Timo Otterdahl quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Thorlejf Arneskov put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Timo Otterdahl. Timo Otterdahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thorlejf Arneskov, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute, Taus Rybjerg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thorlejf Arneskov in the 96th minute of play forced Helletofte FC's goalkeeper Timo Otterdahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Eberhardt Ørsbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the YNWA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
