With an all-out effort, Jungle Circus's Hagbard Spanter threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Csaba Kossuth, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Florin Pruneda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregers Pulcher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Martin Kubalík hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Csaba Kossuth kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hagbard Spanter. That made the score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. The Jungle Circus fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Jungle Circus's Csaba Kossuth looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Csaba Kossuth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th minute Csaba Kossuth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hagbard Spanter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 minutes, Aske Øhme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skovlunde Galaxicos and the Jungle Circus players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Skovlunde Galaxicos's Aske Øhme got a free kick in the 28th minute. Hagbard Spanter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dirch Pilbak in the 29th minute. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Dirch Pilbak took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Hagbard Spanter to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Finn Jarkler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skovlunde Galaxicos's supporters rose to their feet, but Finn Jarkler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florin Pruneda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Jungle Circus's zone, Finn Jarkler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florin Pruneda came out of the goal and Finn Jarkler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute Csaba Kossuth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hagbard Spanter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florin Pruneda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Finn Jarkler in the 48th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Csaba Kossuth stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Finn Jarkler kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Florin Pruneda. That made the score 4-2 in the 53 minute of play. If Finn Jarkler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Florin Pruneda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregers Pulcher in the 60th minute of the match. In the 61stth minute of the game Gregers Pulcher who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jungle Circus's Florin Pruneda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Jungle Circus getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Alfredinho Cearense hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, Dirch Pilbak notched a goal, 6-2, to the right of Skovlunde Galaxicos's Hagbard Spanter. Hagbard Spanter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jungle Circus's Buster Haarby was substituted for Malte Eriksen. In the 74th minute, Csaba Kossuth made a precise shot to the right of Hagbard Spanter. Skovlunde Galaxicos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-2. If Csaba Kossuth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dirch Pilbak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hagbard Spanter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Csaba Kossuth in the 83rd minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Brian Lundegaard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skovlunde Galaxicos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jungle Circus the free kick. Brian Lundegaard hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Martin Kubalík sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Csaba Kossuth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Skovlunde Galaxicos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
