Eske Valimaa started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Skovlunde Galaxicos getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Isak Falsner hit a great ball. Loui Dyndgaard took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hagbard Spanter. Skovlunde Galaxicos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Skovlunde Galaxicos's goal looked a bit too open when Zenon Gall came free, but Hagbard Spanter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute Gettrup SIK were awarded a corner. Loui Dyndgaard went to the cornerflag to take it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zenon Gall in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hagbard Spanter saved Skovlunde Galaxicos from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Zenon Gall put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Hagbard Spanter. In the 15th match minute, Gettrup SIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loui Dyndgaard to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loui Dyndgaard in the 19th minute of play forced Skovlunde Galaxicos's goalkeeper Hagbard Spanter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Skovlunde Galaxicos were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Gettrup SIK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aske Øhme took the corner. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zenon Gall in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hagbard Spanter saved Skovlunde Galaxicos from getting behind. After 27 played minutes Gettrup SIK got a freekick which was hit by Zenon Gall. Hagbard Spanter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zenon Gall's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Skovlunde Galaxicos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Loui Dyndgaard was slow to take the kick. During this time Gettrup SIK's players had a chance to rest. 33 minutes into the match, Skovlunde Galaxicos's goal looked a bit too open when Zenon Gall came free, but Hagbard Spanter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hagbard Spanter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zenon Gall's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Hagbard Spanter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zenon Gall, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 39 minutes of play, Gettrup SIK's Zenon Gall made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hagbard Spanter was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 43 minutes, Loui Dyndgaard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gettrup SIK and the Skovlunde Galaxicos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 44 played minutes Gettrup SIK got a freekick which was hit by Loui Dyndgaard. After the first half Gettrup SIK were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zenon Gall stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zenon Gall's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 51stth minute, Hagbard Spanter skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Gettrup SIK's Keld Popp got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute, Martin Kubalík hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hagbard Spanter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zenon Gall in the 67th minute of play. Zenon Gall scored 0-5 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hagbard Spanter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hagbard Spanter didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Gettrup SIK's Zenon Gall shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-6 in the ordered_time% minute. Hagbard Spanter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zenon Gall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hagbard Spanter stood somewhat misplaced when Zenon Gall came free in front of goal and shot 0-7 to the left of him in the 83 minute. The audience was convinced that Zenon Gall's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hagbard Spanter was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Gettrup SIK's Torjus Solvoll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eske Valimaa in the 95th minute of play. The Gettrup SIK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gettrup SIK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
