Seating: 1948, VIP seats: 169) FC Nordic's Denis Plerup started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Henrik Hegnsbøl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Nordic's Joacim Szydlowsky got a free kick in the 7th minute. Thor Lyksdal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arne Larsson charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arne Larsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th match minute, FC Nordic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arne Larsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 12thth minute of the game Henrik Hegnsbøl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Nordic's Oskar Wilkenschildt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to FC Nordic getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Arne Larsson hit a great ball. Henrik Hegnsbøl kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Nikolas Ørvig kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 25th minute Kim Supensteiner suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 25 minutes into the game, Denis Plerup was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Nordic's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dynamo Brabrand the free kick. Denis Plerup hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Denis Plerup received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Vagnar Tholsted tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Joacim Szydlowsky was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Nordic's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dynamo Brabrand the free kick. Joacim Szydlowsky kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Thor Lyksdal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Nordic's Oskar Wilkenschildt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thor Lyksdal in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Hektor Elversøe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Dynamo Brabrand's Vagnar Tholsted got control of the ball when Denis Plerup tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 43rd minute FC Nordic were awarded a corner. Diego Birkmand went to the cornerflag to take it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henrik Hegnsbøl to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Dynamo Brabrand was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Hegnsbøl to maneuver through the defense. Vagnar Tholsted showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikolas Ørvig, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. FC Nordic's Oskar Wilkenschildt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save FC Nordic from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in FC Nordic's zone, Henrik Hegnsbøl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oskar Wilkenschildt came out of the goal and Henrik Hegnsbøl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nikolas Ørvig hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Oskar Wilkenschildt made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Thor Lyksdal sent off a good shot on target. Henrik Hegnsbøl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thor Lyksdal scored 0-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oskar Wilkenschildt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 68th minute Denis Plerup shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vagnar Tholsted saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Henrik Hegnsbøl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC Nordic's zone, Thor Lyksdal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oskar Wilkenschildt came out of the goal and Thor Lyksdal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thor Lyksdal in the 86th minute of play forced FC Nordic's goalkeeper Oskar Wilkenschildt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Dynamo Brabrand's Henrik Hegnsbøl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oskar Wilkenschildt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Henrik Hegnsbøl who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Oskar Wilkenschildt when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Berndt Hjørksø's late challenge caught a FC Nordic's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Berndt Hjørksø helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd minute, Berndt Hjørksø hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thor Lyksdal got free with Oskar Wilkenschildt in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Nordic's Denis Plerup got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Dynamo Brabrand supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dynamo Brabrand would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
