Oscar Kremmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tøger Benderska, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Sundby Mors IF's Beglan Gollogley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustinus Nendel in the 21st minute of play. After some careless play in the Instituto de Cordoba defense, Heinrich Stavnshøj kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oscar Kremmer. The Instituto de Cordoba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oscar Kremmer should have stopped the shot. When Augustinus Nendel fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Instituto de Cordoba's protests and gave Augustinus Nendel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th match minute, Instituto de Cordoba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augustinus Nendel to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Sundby Mors IF booed when Instituto de Cordoba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Halvor Wiberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Instituto de Cordoba's Augustinus Nendel got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brian Hannested was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 41st minute. Instituto de Cordoba's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 43rd minute, Augustinus Nendel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sundby Mors IF's zone, Brian Hannested stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beglan Gollogley came out of the goal and Brian Hannested tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Sundby Mors IF were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brian Hannested was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Sundby Mors IF's Tøger Benderska got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes in the game, Heinrich Stavnshøj fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Oscar Kremmer having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Heinrich Stavnshøj made a precise shot to the right of Oscar Kremmer. Instituto de Cordoba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6.
