If Walentin Julskov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Walentin Julskov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Anders Havreland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anders Havreland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinand Rosenvad in the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Lavindsgaarde FC's Lavritz Sommur dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Anders Havreland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walentin Julskov, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gotfred Leismann in the 24th minute of play forced Egernføde Boldklub's goalkeeper Vilfred Degener to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lavindsgaarde FC's Anders Havreland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walentin Julskov in the 27th minute of play. If Walentin Julskov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anders Havreland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walentin Julskov in the 32nd minute of play. If Ferdinand Rosenvad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The audience was convinced that Walentin Julskov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anders Havreland was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Vilfred Degener stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lavritz Sommur's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. After a rather tough play, Egernføde Boldklub's Sigmund Theisler got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute, Ferdinand Rosenvad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute Ferdinand Rosenvad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Havreland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute, Ferdinand Rosenvad made a precise shot to the right of Anders Havreland. Lavindsgaarde FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gotfred Leismann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Egernføde Boldklub's Vilfred Degener played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lavritz Sommur in the 98th minute of play. The Egernføde Boldklub supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Egernføde Boldklub would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
