Thomas Lindrup could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Vilfred Degener made a huge save. 16 minutes into the game, Egernføde Boldklub's Walentin Julskov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Didrik Faldal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Walentin Julskov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Egernføde Boldklub's supporters rose to their feet, but Walentin Julskov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Didrik Faldal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Earl Kjær recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26thth minute of the game Earl Kjær who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Egernføde Boldklub's Vilfred Degener was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Egernføde Boldklub's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Thomas Lindrup scored to the left of an out of position Vilfred Degener, making the score, 1-1. Vilfred Degener showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Lindrup in the 35th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Liam Beard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilfred Degener saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AC Østerlars were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Egernføde Boldklub's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Svetaslav Navojka took the corner. Deilmison Cannavaro was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post.
