In the 11th minute, Svetaslav Navojka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walter Leisted was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Svetaslav Navojka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Walter Leisted made a huge save. In the 17th minute, AC Østerlars's Earl Kjær ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Walter Leisted. Walter Leisted yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 19 minutes into the match, O-TT-O's goal looked a bit too open when Liam Beard came free, but Walter Leisted reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22ndth minute of the game Earl Kjær who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but O-TT-O's Walter Leisted was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the O-TT-O defense, Svetaslav Navojka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Walter Leisted. The O-TT-O fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walter Leisted should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Liam Beard got free with Walter Leisted in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th minute, AC Østerlars's Svetaslav Navojka dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Walter Leisted took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Earl Kjær, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thomas Lindrup's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walter Leisted read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Earl Kjær in the 34th minute of play forced O-TT-O's goalkeeper Walter Leisted to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Franco Baresi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Walter Leisted, 5-0. Thomas Lindrup could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Walter Leisted made a huge save. The supporters of O-TT-O booed when AC Østerlars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franco Baresi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the match, O-TT-O's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Lindrup came free, but Walter Leisted reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Earl Kjær stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Walter Leisted showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Earl Kjær in the 51st minute of the match. 51 minutes into the game, Paw Viskum was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. O-TT-O's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Østerlars the free kick. Paw Viskum kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Earl Kjær in the 52nd minute of play forced O-TT-O's goalkeeper Walter Leisted to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the O-TT-O defense, Liam Beard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Walter Leisted. Walter Leisted showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liam Beard in the 85th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hemming Glykær in the 87th minute of play forced O-TT-O's goalkeeper Walter Leisted to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The AC Østerlars fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when AC Østerlars's Thomas Lindrup looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 93 minutes into the match, Hemming Glykær had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Walter Leisted. O-TT-O's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hemming Glykær was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. If Thomas Lindrup had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. AC Østerlars fully deserved thier win.
