Deilmison Cannavaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to AC Østerlars getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Deilmison Cannavaro hit a great ball. AC Østerlars's Didrik Faldal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save AC Østerlars from getting a goal against them. Marvin Leerberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Didrik Faldal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 15 minutes into the match, Amin Rostvold notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of AC Østerlars's Didrik Faldal. Didrik Faldal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 18th minute, one of AC Østerlars:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AC Østerlars. In the 25th match minute, Amager FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erhard Lovelady to maneuver through the defense. Amin Rostvold might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Didrik Faldal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amin Rostvold ran back to his position shaking his head. 27 minutes into the match, AC Østerlars's goal looked a bit too open when Amin Rostvold came free, but Didrik Faldal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kenneth Strandsgaard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svetaslav Navojka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Svetaslav Navojka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Strandsgaard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kenneth Strandsgaard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Earl Kjær in the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amin Rostvold in the 46th minute of play forced AC Østerlars's goalkeeper Didrik Faldal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Svetaslav Navojka had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kenneth Strandsgaard. Amager FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Svetaslav Navojka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Didrik Faldal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amin Rostvold's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute, Jonatan Lilienvald ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kenneth Strandsgaard was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 63rd minute Amin Rostvold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didrik Faldal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Earl Kjær in the 64th minute of play forced Amager FC's goalkeeper Kenneth Strandsgaard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Ludwig Darsberg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AC Østerlars's Didrik Faldal did a great save. Amin Rostvold's late challenge caught a AC Østerlars's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amin Rostvold helped the player get up and apologised. AC Østerlars's Vagnar Brock was substituted for Liam Beard. In the 73rd minute, Amin Rostvold hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kenneth Strandsgaard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Earl Kjær, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Didrik Faldal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marvin Leerberg's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Amager FC made a substitution. AC Østerlars's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
