Esbjerg fB's Donato Bordon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerry Classon in the 9th minute of play. Jerry Classon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ace Mace made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 于震树 in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesaro Prieto in the 20th minute of play forced Esbjerg fB's goalkeeper Donato Bordon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Bendt Birkemark almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Esbjerg fB's Donato Bordon did a great save. The crowd rose to their feet as Altino Lameirinhas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Donato Bordon. That made the score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. With a little luck, Esbjerg fB's Donato Bordon got control of the ball when Jens-Erik Stephansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Esbjerg fB getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. 蔡强天 hit a great ball. Bendt Birkemark recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Altino Lameirinhas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Donato Bordon firmly grabbed it by the left post. Altino Lameirinhas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Donato Bordon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 33 minutes into the game, Altino Lameirinhas lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Donato Bordon. Severin Torbell's late challenge caught a Undertakers FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severin Torbell helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th match minute, Esbjerg fB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severin Torbell to maneuver through the defense. Bendt Birkemark shot from long distance in the 37th minute, but Donato Bordon was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Donato Bordon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Altino Lameirinhas in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Bendt Birkemark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Bordon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Esbjerg fB's Chris Rangø seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Chris Rangø the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Esbjerg fB protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Chris Rangø had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Esbjerg fB! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Servet Turabi was the one to do the kick off. Ace Mace made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Servet Turabi sent off a good shot on target. 53 minutes into the match, Undertakers FC's Jerry Classon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donato Bordon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Undertakers FC booed when Esbjerg fB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mourits Wermelin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute Jens-Erik Stephansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Bordon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Jens-Erik Stephansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Undertakers FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Donato Bordon came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Undertakers FC's Bendt Birkemark. But to his dismay, Bendt Birkemark quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Donato Bordon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Erik Stephansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Donato Bordon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bendt Birkemark in the 73rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Esbjerg fB's 蔡强天 got a free kick in the 76th minute. Altino Lameirinhas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donato Bordon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bendt Birkemark in the 82nd minute of play. Bendt Birkemark struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Donato Bordon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Undertakers FC. Donato Bordon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Classon in the 94th minute of play. Undertakers FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
