A very good chance for a goal. 12 minutes into the match, Thøger Fogde notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Rosenhøj Boldklub's Kai Hammerslev. Kai Hammerslev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sivart Lossov in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kai Hammerslev, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 24th minute, Kirkeby's Sivart Lossov dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Thøger Fogde could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Kai Hammerslev made a huge save. In the 32nd minute of the match Kirkeby got a corner. Rosenhøj Boldklub's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Frank Majkilde ran over to the corner to take the kick. Kirkeby's Rudi Nørrebæk was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kai Hammerslev in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The Kirkeby fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Kirkeby's Rudi Nørrebæk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 35 minutes into the match, Kirkeby's goal looked a bit too open when Aslak Schjær came free, but Peiter Erhardt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peiter Erhardt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Weltz in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute of the match Timmy Vimund sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Peiter Erhardt skillfully saved the ball. Kai Hammerslev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sivart Lossov in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute Sebastian Whitta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peiter Erhardt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rosenhøj Boldklub were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Kirkeby's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jan Motal took the corner. The corner led Rosenhøj Boldklub's Jan Motal to fire away a dangerous shot which Peiter Erhardt despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sivart Lossov was the one to do the kick off. Kai Hammerslev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sivart Lossov, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. Johan Ostersen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Peiter Erhardt made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredrik Vesturklett in the 54th minute of play forced Rosenhøj Boldklub's goalkeeper Kai Hammerslev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th match minute, Kirkeby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredrik Vesturklett to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sivart Lossov in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kai Hammerslev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Kirkeby getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Frank Majkilde hit a great ball. Rosenhøj Boldklub's Pelle Erp was substituted for Stefan Wahl. The supporters of Rosenhøj Boldklub booed when Kirkeby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Majkilde didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sivart Lossov in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kai Hammerslev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rosenhøj Boldklub's Krestian Tux was substituted for Jan Motal. In the 75th minute, Gerhard Henshall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peiter Erhardt was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Timmy Vimund. Kai Hammerslev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sivart Lossov in the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sivart Lossov in the 80th minute of play forced Rosenhøj Boldklub's goalkeeper Kai Hammerslev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fredrik Vesturklett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kai Hammerslev having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Kirkeby's Adam Segel got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Peiter Erhardt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johan Ostersen in the 85th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Aslak Schjær made a precise shot to the right of Peiter Erhardt. Kirkeby's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Many of Rosenhøj Boldklub's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Rosenhøj Boldklub may have spent more time on the ball, but Kirkeby were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
