The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Paw Nibelvang came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Saco FC's Chris Dhaussy. But to his dismay, Chris Dhaussy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Paw Nibelvang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter-Jan De Brouwer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paw Nibelvang came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Saco FC's Malam Drage. But to his dismay, Malam Drage quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Paw Nibelvang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter-Jan De Brouwer in the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter-Jan De Brouwer in the 23rd minute of play forced FC Gamla Stan's goalkeeper Paw Nibelvang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th match minute, Saco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pelle Varbæk to maneuver through the defense. Phillip Glerum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Paw Nibelvang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Linus Resentvig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Phillip Glerum was a little too slow when Héctor Quintero got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malam Drage in the 43rd minute of play forced FC Gamla Stan's goalkeeper Paw Nibelvang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, FC Gamla Stan's goal looked a bit too open when Linus Resentvig came free, but Paw Nibelvang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Saco FC were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

FC Gamla Stan made a substitution. Chris Sjong replaced André Bjørnstjerne. Phillip Glerum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vatan Nass in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute Linus Resentvig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paw Nibelvang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, FC Gamla Stan's goalkeeper Paw Nibelvang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Malam Drage. In the 59thth minute of the game Michel Torres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saco FC's Phillip Glerum was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Paw Nibelvang managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Saco FC's Peter-Jan De Brouwer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Paw Nibelvang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Malam Drage in the 65th minute of the match. Peter-Jan De Brouwer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Paw Nibelvang made a huge save. Saco FC's Phillip Glerum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Héctor Quintero in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Dhaussy in the 76th minute of play forced FC Gamla Stan's goalkeeper Paw Nibelvang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Phillip Glerum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vatan Nass, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Paw Nibelvang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Malam Drage in the 85th minute. Peter-Jan De Brouwer succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-5 in the 88th playminute. FC Gamla Stan's Marko Freendsen was substituted for Taus Bjørkegren. Phillip Glerum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Linus Resentvig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Paw Nibelvang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Malam Drage reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paw Nibelvang. The goal made the score 1-6. The FC Gamla Stan fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Saco FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
