Spectators: 10776 (Terracing: 8159, Seating: 2400, VIP seats: 217) Skellerup FC's Cyryl Gotfryd started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute Bent Streyder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenn Kuberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cyryl Gotfryd could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Tristan Nordlet made a huge save. In the 6th minute Skellerup FC were awarded a corner. Stefan-Benjamin Hula went to the cornerflag to take it. Nickolai Stensholt tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Tristan Nordlet. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-0 in the 6th minute. In the 10th minute Stefan-Benjamin Hula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Nordlet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Indiana Jones got free with Tristan Nordlet in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 14th minute, Bent Streyder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Berthold Haardeng hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute Elmar Lexbo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenn Kuberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tristan Nordlet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan-Benjamin Hula in the 33rd minute of the match. After 33 minutes Holmkjar Hotspurs's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stefan-Benjamin Hula who took care of the corner kick. Bent Streyder took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kenn Kuberg. Kenn Kuberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 45 minutes into the game, Indiana Jones was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skellerup FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Holmkjar Hotspurs the free kick. A collision led to Skellerup FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Indiana Jones hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Bent Streyder made the kick off in the second half. Kenn Kuberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bent Streyder, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 58 minutes into the match, Skellerup FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bent Streyder came free, but Kenn Kuberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Bent Streyder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Indiana Jones recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tristan Nordlet came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Skellerup FC's Cyryl Gotfryd. But to his dismay, Cyryl Gotfryd quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Bent Streyder came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Holmkjar Hotspurs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bent Streyder couldn't finish the play. In the 68thth minute of the game Cyryl Gotfryd who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Holmkjar Hotspurs's Tristan Nordlet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Holmkjar Hotspurs made a substitution. Magnus Steinwart replaced Bent Streyder. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Ulf Pilshøj was substituted for Sigfrid Eildorf. Holmkjar Hotspurs made a substitution. Kurd Frydenholt replaced Claes Katsir. After 71 minutes Holmkjar Hotspurs's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stefan-Benjamin Hula who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Skellerup FC's Cyryl Gotfryd to fire away a dangerous shot which Tristan Nordlet despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Magnus Steinwart in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kenn Kuberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Niklas Rüsander made in the 75th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Paris Hilty however managed to control. In the 82nd minute Cyryl Gotfryd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Nordlet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elmar Lexbo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kenn Kuberg was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Elmar Lexbo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elmar Lexbo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. A collision led to Skellerup FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Cyryl Gotfryd hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the game, Magnus Steinwart cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Kenn Kuberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match was over Holmkjar Hotspurs could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Skellerup FC throughout the match.
