After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Orson Tillich managed to get in a good position for a shot. Diepseifen's supporters rose to their feet, but Orson Tillich was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvain Gotschika breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Diepseifen booed when Kramerhof FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theo Carstensen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claes Plump showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Femmer in the 26th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Diepseifen's goal looked a bit too open when Gero Steinbrück came free, but Claes Plump reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
