Ralf Trares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronald Fischinger having to interfere. In the 41st match minute, NationalElf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerald Slave to maneuver through the defense. REAL OMERO's Hansi Ewert managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Philipp Pangerl in the 44 minute of the game. Ronald Fischinger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralf Trares, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivan Vúlchkov to make the kick off. REAL OMERO's Ronald Fischinger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save REAL OMERO from getting a goal against them. When Hansjürgen Voßkühler was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 80 minutes had been played. Ronald Fischinger made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Ralf Trares sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, REAL OMERO's Hansi Ewert got a free kick in the 96th minute. The REAL OMERO players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
