With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paul Hamilton in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Klaus Reck saved FC Röhre 04 from getting behind. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the game, Nigde Kickers's Pitt Neugebauer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Klaus Reck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erhard Bader got free with Oka Beuschlein in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gerrit Wazansky fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oka Beuschlein having to interfere. After 76 played minutes FC Röhre 04 got a freekick which was hit by Gerrit Wazansky. FC Röhre 04's Klaus Reck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pitt Neugebauer in the 77th minute of play. Pitt Neugebauer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Klaus Reck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 81 minutes, Pitt Neugebauer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nigde Kickers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pitt Neugebauer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Nigde Kickers's zone, Gerrit Wazansky stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oka Beuschlein came out of the goal and Gerrit Wazansky tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paul Hamilton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klaus Reck having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Nigde Kickers's goal looked a bit too open when Gerrit Wazansky came free, but Oka Beuschlein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pitt Neugebauer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
