An unexpectedly hard shot by Eros Burka in the 4th minute of play forced Galatasaray Spor Kulübü's goalkeeper Raimund Kleminski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Eros Burka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raimund Kleminski was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Clint Glos hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray Spor Kulübü's Thomas Andrejewski got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, Clint Glos sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Galatasaray Spor Kulübü's Raimund Kleminski didn't even have to move. Raimund Kleminski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egon Maier in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Eros Burka got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Rudolf Behm made the kick off in the second half. Egon Maier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Raimund Kleminski made a huge save. 55 minutes into the match, Galatasaray Spor Kulübü's goal looked a bit too open when Eros Burka came free, but Raimund Kleminski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Eros Burka fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After having played for 64 minutes, Ariel Köhncke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kleinenheerse FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ariel Köhncke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raimund Kleminski was a little too slow when Eros Burka got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 1-2. Oskar Klopp took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnold Knöpfel. Arnold Knöpfel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The supporters of Kleinenheerse FC booed when Galatasaray Spor Kulübü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erk Karl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raimund Kleminski was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Eros Burka capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eros Burka really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Egon Maier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimund Kleminski having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Egon Maier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kleinenheerse FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Egon Maier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raimund Kleminski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kleinenheerse FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
