A hard shot by Ödön Weites from long distance, 20 minutes into the match, got Edgar Burtscher's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Marc Metzner hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Isengraben's Edgar Burtscher got control of the ball when Manfred Koziolek tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner led FC VAKFIKEBIR's Steffen Kucharczyk to fire away a dangerous shot which Edgar Burtscher despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of FC VAKFIKEBIR booed when Isengraben was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harm Decker didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Elmar Drinkard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Lajos Rosentritt made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Dorian Bär got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 59 minutes into the game, Elmar Drinkard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Horatio Burg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 83rd minute, Elmar Drinkard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albrecht Mebus struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Horatio Burg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Isengraben. The Isengraben players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
