In the 18th minute Hanjo Brahms shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ewald Tepper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shingo Hoffmanns sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Gullberna Park Rangers's Enak Mehlbaum sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ewald Tepper narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Gullberna Park Rangers defense, Focke Barkow kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kim Portwein. The Gullberna Park Rangers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kim Portwein should have stopped the shot. After 32 played minutes Gullberna Park Rangers got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Behnert. 33 minutes into the match, Gullberna Park Rangers's goalkeeper Kim Portwein had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adi Hein. Kim Portwein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dittmar Buchholz in the 35th minute of the match. Severin Rektor hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Ewald Tepper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enak Mehlbaum in the 42nd minute of the match. Enak Mehlbaum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ewald Tepper having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enak Mehlbaum got free with Ewald Tepper in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gullberna Park Rangers's Enak Mehlbaum got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Gullberna Park Rangers booed when Conweiler FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kester Weisheit didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dittmar Buchholz in the 68th minute of play forced Gullberna Park Rangers's goalkeeper Kim Portwein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conweiler FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
