The audience was convinced that Willy Brandt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexander Fritz was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Alexander Fritz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulrik Billvall in the 41st minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Vicco Stumpf in the 42nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC SERDIE 96's Ulrik Billvall. When Peer Gottwald fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Willy Brandt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexander Fritz having to make a save. Gavril Tiberian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Detlef Heiland in the 79th minute of play. Willy Brandts short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Alexander Fritz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Willy Brandt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Fritz having to interfere. Gavril Tiberian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Feilbingert support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
