Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Vatan Kreuzberg36's Berend Jendretzky started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice moves Heiner Sichelstiel could shoot a difficult shot in the 5th minute, which Drees Northe however easily saved by the left post. 5 minutes into the match, Fadilinho Juniors's goalkeeper Drees Northe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Heiner Sichelstiel. When Friedemann Orthaus fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vatan Kreuzberg36's protests and gave Friedemann Orthaus a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Vatan Kreuzberg36:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fadilinho Juniors:s goal. Lutz Hoffmann went to the wrong direction when Botho Brase was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 12th minute, Botho Brase left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fadilinho Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some careless play in the Vatan Kreuzberg36 defense, Botho Brase kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lutz Hoffmann. The Vatan Kreuzberg36 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lutz Hoffmann should have stopped the shot. Spike Herrmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lutz Hoffmann came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Fadilinho Juniors's Spike Herrmann. But to his dismay, Spike Herrmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Heiner Sichelstiel scored 1-3 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Drees Northe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Drees Northe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berend Jendretzky, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Drees Northe made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Heiner Sichelstiel sent off a good shot on target. 44 minutes into the game, Paulus Paulus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fadilinho Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vatan Kreuzberg36 the free kick. If Botho Brase had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Vatan Kreuzberg36 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fadilinho Juniors were winning 1-3.

Nikolaus Bernardi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Lutz Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Spike Herrmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 61 minutes in the game, Botho Brase fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Lutz Hoffmann having to interfere. If Spike Herrmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Drees Northe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Berend Jendretzky's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute, Fadilinho Juniors's Botho Brase dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Fadilinho Juniors's Alonso Schwabe was substituted for Hilmar Held. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Spike Herrmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fadilinho Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Spike Herrmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lutz Hoffmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lutz Hoffmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Botho Brase in the 79th minute of play. Spike Herrmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Lutz Hoffmann made a huge save. After 82 played minutes Vatan Kreuzberg36 got a freekick which was hit by Wulf Herlitizius. After a defensive mix-up in Vatan Kreuzberg36's zone, Spike Herrmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lutz Hoffmann came out of the goal and Spike Herrmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heiner Sichelstiel in the 85th minute of play forced Fadilinho Juniors's goalkeeper Drees Northe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Drees Northe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heiner Sichelstiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Spike Herrmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Drees Northe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heiner Sichelstiel in the 93rd minute of the match. After 95 played minutes Vatan Kreuzberg36 got a freekick which was hit by Wulf Herlitizius. If Spike Herrmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Fadilinho Juniors could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Vatan Kreuzberg36 throughout the match.
