Mario Rambach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eschberg. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bonifatius Falke made a kick off. Mario Rambach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Massoud Boll, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Massoud Boll blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mario Rambach having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Heinz Harms's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mario Rambach was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Mario Rambach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Massoud Boll in the 71st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Axel Griebel during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
