When Friedl Bleser came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Nettgau FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Friedl Bleser couldn't finish the play. After having played for 32 minutes, Ernst Zuydtwyck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nettgau FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernst Zuydtwyck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Friedl Bleser's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ernst Westerman was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Ernst Westerman came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Nettgau FSV's Friedl Bleser. But to his dismay, Friedl Bleser quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Friedl Bleser to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Nettgau FSV got a corner. Krummendorf's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aloys Gaber ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nettgau FSV's Sigurd Sand was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ernst Westerman in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 55th minute Ernst Zuydtwyck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernst Westerman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 played minutes Krummendorf got a freekick which was hit by Karsten von Holst. Friedl Bleser in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ernst Westerman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Friedl Bleser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernst Westerman having to interfere. Friedl Bleser who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Ernst Westerman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ernst Zuydtwyck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Karsten von Holst came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Krummendorf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karsten von Holst couldn't finish the play. Ernst Westerman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernst Zuydtwyck in the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute Uwe Senekowitsch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ocke Gobsch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernst Zuydtwyck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Friedl Bleser came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Nettgau FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Friedl Bleser couldn't finish the play. After 87 played minutes, Nettgau FSV's Klemens Arendt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ernst Westerman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nettgau FSV reached it. Ernst Zuydtwyck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, Krummendorf's goalkeeper Ernst Westerman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Friedl Bleser. If Ernst Zuydtwyck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernst Zuydtwyck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernst Westerman having to interfere. When the match was over Nettgau FSV could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Krummendorf throughout the match.
