After the first half Blocksberg were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Artur Baxmann was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Konrad Gern showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 59 minute of play. Lasse Borgmeier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Baxmann having to interfere. Blocksberg's Timo Wegmann got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pablo Weidenbach kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Blocksberg's goal looked a bit too open when Thies Schaus came free, but Björn Feuerstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lasse Borgmeier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timo Wegmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Artur Baxmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Bismarck FC's Artur Baxmann got control of the ball when Lasse Borgmeier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Blocksberg's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
