Torsten Bertel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruben Heinzmann having to make a save. Ralph Schuber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andy Dahmen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Heinzmann having to interfere. When Huven's Andy Dahmen in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Schwarzenegger FC's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andy Dahmen made a kick off. A collision led to Huven getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Jürgen Matthiessen hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Huven's zone, Till Mütze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robert Blindow came out of the goal and Till Mütze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Till Mütze during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, Schwarzenegger FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Till Mütze to maneuver through the defense. René Jeneks was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 64th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 73rd minute, Fred Hindlmeyer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robert Blindow took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Köddermann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 78 minutes, Rafael Köddermann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Schwarzenegger FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Köddermann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ralph Schuber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robert Blindow showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Köddermann, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Köddermann in the 91st minute of play forced Huven's goalkeeper Robert Blindow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jürgen Matthiessen kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The supporters of Schwarzenegger FC booed when Huven was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dave Hugo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute of the match Constantin Bredel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robert Blindow skillfully saved the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Huven eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
