Spectators: 6710 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1710, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Drees Blank made the kick off which started today's match. Ergün Ehrstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurizio Rösel in the 9th minute of play. After having played for 10 minutes, Horst Riemer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ammern's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horst Riemer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maurizio Rösel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ergün Ehrstein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ammern's Horst Riemer got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horst Riemer got free with Ergün Ehrstein in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Flackenhorst getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Gregor Gern hit a great ball. Maurizio Rösel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ergün Ehrstein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ergün Ehrstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Werner Woltering, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Jaromir Bleile sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Horst Riemer's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ergün Ehrstein firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Ammern's zone, Drees Blank stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Holtmann came out of the goal and Drees Blank tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Horst Riemer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ergün Ehrstein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maurizio Rösel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ergün Ehrstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurizio Rösel, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. When Horst Riemer came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Ammern fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horst Riemer couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Maurizio Rösel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ergün Ehrstein was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. After 58 played minutes Ammern got a freekick which was hit by Jaromir Bleile. In the 60th minute, Maurizio Rösel made a precise shot to the right of Ergün Ehrstein. Flackenhorst's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 64th minute Maurizio Rösel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ergün Ehrstein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of Flackenhorst:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ammern:s goal. Ergün Ehrstein had in the 67thth minute some difficulties stopping Stefan Riesenhuber's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Stefan Riesenhuber scored 3-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ergün Ehrstein, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Horst Riemer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ergün Ehrstein having to interfere. When Maurizio Rösel came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Ammern fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurizio Rösel couldn't finish the play. Maurizio Rösel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 82 minutes, Jaromir Bleile mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ammern and the Flackenhorst players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Jaromir Bleile hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maurizio Rösel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Ergün Ehrstein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Werner Woltering sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ammern's Maurizio Rösel got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Ammern players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
