Mölschow's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Laßrönne FSV the free kick. Gunter Hanta hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After 14 minutes Mölschow's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Patrick Hofer who took care of the corner kick. In the 17th minute, Günther Derieth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Mehmet Ertas Walden managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Laßrönne FSV's Nelson Schleiermacher fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 29th minute, Krister Fritschken got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Mölschow's goal looked a bit too open when Günther Derieth came free, but Mehmet Ertas Walden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Günther Derieth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Mehmet Ertas Walden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laßrönne FSV's Rolf Bast was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 44th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Günther Derieth made a kick off. Kevin Kersten made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Axel von der Schulenburg sent off a good shot on target. 64 minutes into the match, Mölschow's Krister Fritschken sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kevin Kersten narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, Mölschow's goal looked a bit too open when Nelson Schleiermacher came free, but Mehmet Ertas Walden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kevin Kersten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krister Fritschken in the 70th minute of play. Günther Derieth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 75 played minutes Laßrönne FSV got a freekick which was hit by Günther Derieth. Axel von der Schulenburg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kevin Kersten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krister Fritschken, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Mehmet Ertas Walden didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olaf Hendricks went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Kevin Kersten made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Axel von der Schulenburg sent off a good shot on target. Krister Fritschken recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Laßrönne FSV had won after a very even match.
