Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leon Saal took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Albert Glaubach ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ignaz Erdem was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albert Glaubach in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ignaz Erdem prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leon Saal struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Finn Kreckel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC COMPTON. Albert Glaubach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ignaz Erdem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Albert Glaubach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aloys Walter in the 17th minute of play forced FC COMPTON's goalkeeper Ignaz Erdem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Aloys Walter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignaz Erdem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Aloys Walter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, FC COMPTON's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Glaubach came free, but Ignaz Erdem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johannes Voigt's late challenge caught a FC COMPTON's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Johannes Voigt helped the player get up and apologised. Ignaz Erdem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Glaubach, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. If Albert Glaubach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the FC COMPTON defense, Aloys Walter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ignaz Erdem. The FC COMPTON fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ignaz Erdem should have stopped the shot. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC COMPTON's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hinrik Hering was slow to take the kick. During this time Borg's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Hinrik Hering almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC COMPTON's Ignaz Erdem did a great save. The audience was convinced that Aloys Walter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ignaz Erdem was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. If Albert Glaubach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, FC COMPTON's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Glaubach came free, but Ignaz Erdem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ignaz Erdem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Glaubach in the 45th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Albert Glaubach cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ignaz Erdem was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Borg were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aloys Walter to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Albert Glaubach left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Borg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. FC COMPTON's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Aloys Walter 61 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. Rudi Bebel hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Ignaz Erdem stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aloys Walter's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. In the 73rd minute Aloys Walter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignaz Erdem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FC COMPTON getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Leon Saal hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, FC COMPTON's goalkeeper Ignaz Erdem had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albert Glaubach. Herrmann Körner charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Herrmann Körner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Albert Glaubach got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Borg's Aloys Walter got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albert Glaubach got free with Ignaz Erdem in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Aloys Walter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borg's supporters rose to their feet, but Aloys Walter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ignaz Erdem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Albert Glaubach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Borg's Aloys Walter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ignaz Erdem narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
