The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dan Schwein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Bischoff in the 8th minute of play. Joscha Klante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Dan Schwein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raban Blecken charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raban Blecken the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Kleehahn booed when Bad Homburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raban Blecken didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kleehahn's Holger Wald couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bad Homburg. Joscha Klante took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dan Schwein. Dan Schwein dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 26 played minutes Kleehahn got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosius Schrappe. The Kleehahn fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Kleehahn's Joscha Klante looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dan Schwein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosius Schrappe in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Bischoff in the 37th minute of play forced Bad Homburg's goalkeeper Dan Schwein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dan Schwein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Bischoff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dan Schwein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bastian Pofalla in the 40th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Mario Bischoff ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dan Schwein was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 45th minute, Joscha Klante left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kleehahn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The Bad Homburg players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kleehahn were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mario Bischoff to make the kick off. Ambrosius Schrappe kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. With a little luck, Bad Homburg's Dan Schwein got control of the ball when Mario Bischoff tried to sneak it across the goal line. 55 minutes into the game, Holger Wald was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kleehahn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bad Homburg the free kick. A collision led to Kleehahn getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Holger Wald hit a great ball. In the 56th minute Uwe Buchbinder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elmar Bilger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Joscha Klante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dan Schwein was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. With a little luck, Bad Homburg's Dan Schwein got control of the ball when Joscha Klante tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dan Schwein was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dan Schwein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambrosius Schrappe, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Kleehahn's Terry Dannemann shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 80th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Dan Schwein but with some difficulty. Elmar Bilger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uwe Buchbinder, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Dan Schwein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Bischoff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Joscha Klante came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Kleehahn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joscha Klante couldn't finish the play. Uwe Buchbinder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elmar Bilger having to interfere. After 92 played minutes Kleehahn got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosius Schrappe. In the 93rd minute of the match Conrad Fesseler shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elmar Bilger showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Bad Homburg supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kleehahn's performance. The match ended with a win for Kleehahn.
