Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FC Übach-Palenberg's Jochen Kickermann started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fredo Bilharz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burkhardt Gänßle in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Übach-Palenberg's Jürg Born got a free kick in the 13th minute. The audience was convinced that Siegfried Lattus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fredo Bilharz was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. After 22 minutes of play, Dorlar's Siegfried Lattus made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fredo Bilharz was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Burkhardt Gänßle came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Dorlar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Burkhardt Gänßle couldn't finish the play. Ralph Sattler's late challenge caught a Dorlar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ralph Sattler helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Übach-Palenberg getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Ralph Sattler hit a great ball. Burkhardt Gänßle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Fredo Bilharz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fredo Bilharz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siegfried Lattus, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Burkhardt Gänßle notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC Übach-Palenberg's Fredo Bilharz. Fredo Bilharz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fredo Bilharz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Burkhardt Gänßle in the 36th minute of the match. If Siegfried Lattus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Neugebauer hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Burkhardt Gänßle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. FC Übach-Palenberg's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Burkhardt Gänßle scored to the left of an out of position Fredo Bilharz, making the score, 1-3. 84 minutes into the game, Jiri Ruge was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dorlar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Übach-Palenberg the free kick. After a rather tough play, Dorlar's Jiri Ruge got a free kick in the 84th minute. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Fulko Bahlke took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Fredo Bilharz to make any attempt to save it.
