In the 55th minute of the match Georg Berghoff sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan Crnkovic skillfully saved the ball. Barigau's Tibor Bernard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Che Wilhelmi in the 57th minute of play. Tibor Bernard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yannik Sakellariou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jordan Paulus in the 61st minute of play forced FC Wolfenbüttel's goalkeeper Jan Crnkovic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tibor Bernard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yannik Sakellariou in the 63rd minute of the match. Peter Bisky scored 0-2 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan Crnkovic, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Wolfenbüttel made a substitution. Reiner Wächter replaced Yannik Sakellariou. Jan Crnkovic made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Marius Kumbruch sent off a good shot on target. Patrick Wulff was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 74 minutes into the match. In the 78thth minute of the game Knut Seidel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barigau's Tibor Bernard was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jan Crnkovic made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peter Bisky in the 79th minute. Knut Seidel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tibor Bernard having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, FC Wolfenbüttel's goal looked a bit too open when Jordan Paulus came free, but Jan Crnkovic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Che Wilhelmi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Melchior Minge hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Melchior Minge's late challenge caught a FC Wolfenbüttel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Melchior Minge helped the player get up and apologised. In the 100th minute, Melchior Minge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see FC Wolfenbüttel lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
