With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leo Stauder in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hardi Gaffga saved Tierberg from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Leo Stauder managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Paula's supporters rose to their feet, but Leo Stauder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hardi Gaffga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of FC Paula:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tierberg:s goal. Ferdinand Heiduk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukas Sahin, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. A collision led to FC Paula getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Rachid Westermann hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, FC Paula's Leo Stauder sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hardi Gaffga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leo Stauder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Tierberg getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Florian Wicklein hit a great ball. FC Paula's Leo Stauder got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, FC Paula's goalkeeper Ferdinand Heiduk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carl Kramer. In the 46th minute, Rachid Westermann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Tierberg's Niels Scholze tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronald Welskop made a kick off. In the 50th minute, Leo Trumpf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 51 in the game by Leo Stauder from a close distance when the talented Hardi Gaffga managed to make a qualified save. Tierberg's players were relieved. With a little luck, Tierberg's Hardi Gaffga got control of the ball when Leo Stauder tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leo Stauder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute Lukas Sahin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Heiduk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Tierberg booed when FC Paula was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Stauder didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Dirk Fischer was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. FC Paula's Ulrich Engbers shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 89th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Hardi Gaffga but with some difficulty.
