Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karsten Waclawiak to make the kick off. If Karsten Waclawiak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rudolf Holtmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Gunter Scheiler managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Hinterm Busch's Rudolf Holtmann fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Hinterm Busch getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Ian Michel hit a great ball. Gunter Scheiler made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Rudolf Holtmann sent off a good shot on target. Hinterm Busch were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Altenstadt FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Niels Polzin took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Levent Nonnenbruch managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Hinterm Busch's Maximilian Kaiser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Bangas in the 87th minute of play. Heiner Anrute's late challenge caught a Hinterm Busch's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Heiner Anrute helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th match minute, Altenstadt FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heiner Anrute to maneuver through the defense. Knut Weidmann struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Maximilian Kaiser didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Altenstadt FC. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Altenstadt FC had won after a very even match.
