The Kötterichen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Johnny Kitzbichker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Attila Mackowiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Johnny Kitzbichker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolf Abrogans, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, Rolf Abrogans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johnny Kitzbichker was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After the first half Kötterichen were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rolf Abrogans to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Dynamo Durscht booed when Kötterichen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stuart Abernett didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomas Jacob in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keanu Bieber prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Keanu Bieber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Jacob in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 89th minute of the match Dynamo Durscht got a corner. Kötterichen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Efraim Zabe ran over to the corner to take the kick. Johnny Kitzbichker was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rolf Abrogans showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 90 minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Dynamo Durscht's goalkeeper Johnny Kitzbichker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rolf Abrogans. Attila Mackowiak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Johnny Kitzbichker made a huge save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Kötterichen walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
