Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kay Kinkeldey made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the game, Ferit Schönhuber was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Börnersdorf's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Merzhausen FC the free kick. In the 4th match minute, Börnersdorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferit Schönhuber to maneuver through the defense. When Alex Wortmann came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Merzhausen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Wortmann couldn't finish the play. Samon Breitenbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Semjon Lammertz having to interfere. Bernd El Uriagli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Semjon Lammertz having to interfere. Samon Breitenbach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Kay Kinkeldey came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Merzhausen FC fans jumped to their feet. Samon Breitenbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Semjon Lammertz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kay Kinkeldey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Semjon Lammertz managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Merzhausen FC's Samon Breitenbach fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Semjon Lammertz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Wortmann in the 25th minute of the match. After 28 played minutes Merzhausen FC got a freekick which was hit by Samon Breitenbach. Alex Wortmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Semjon Lammertz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Samon Breitenbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Semjon Lammertz having to interfere. Samon Breitenbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Semjon Lammertz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Béla Dobinski came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Merzhausen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Béla Dobinski couldn't finish the play. Kay Kinkeldey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Semjon Lammertz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex Wortmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Burt Garczyk to strike the kick off in the second half. Samon Breitenbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Semjon Lammertz having to interfere. Alex Wortmann hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Alfons Mut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Burt Garczyk in the 54th minute of the match. Kay Kinkeldey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Béla Dobinski charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Béla Dobinski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 58 played minutes Merzhausen FC got a freekick which was hit by Béla Dobinski. Alex Wortmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Semjon Lammertz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernd El Uriagli, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 70th minute, Kay Kinkeldey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Merzhausen FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Bernd El Uriagli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merzhausen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernd El Uriagli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Semjon Lammertz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute of the match Mirko Helpenstein shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Semjon Lammertz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alex Wortmann struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Semjon Lammertz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Merzhausen FC. After having played for 87 minutes, Alex Wortmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Merzhausen FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Wortmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Béla Dobinski struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Semjon Lammertz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Merzhausen FC. A collision led to Merzhausen FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Alex Wortmann hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Merzhausen FC had played much better football throughout.
