Bruno Berkowitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduard Tiedgen in the 22nd minute of the match. Hansjörg Lau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Knappe having to interfere. Reno Heller's late challenge caught a Wübbenhorst's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Knappe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hansjörg Lau, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Eduard Tiedgen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Berkowitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Gustav Moock was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rinderbügener Hof FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wübbenhorst the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Pehlke in the 84th minute of play forced Rinderbügener Hof FC's goalkeeper Bruno Berkowitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Rinderbügener Hof FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Pehlke came free, but Bruno Berkowitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
