An unexpectedly hard shot by Immanuel Pöschl in the 10th minute of play forced InterWerder's goalkeeper Igli Wachsmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, HainSenSİN's Fritz Reininger got control of the ball when Antonius Pütz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hartmut Gauweiler blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fritz Reininger having to make a save. After some careless play in the HainSenSİN defense, Antonius Pütz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fritz Reininger. The HainSenSİN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fritz Reininger should have stopped the shot. Hartmut Gauweiler struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Fritz Reininger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for InterWerder. Igli Wachsmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Immanuel Pöschl in the 27th minute of the match. HainSenSİN's Fritz Reininger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hartmut Gauweiler in the 29th minute of play. Igli Wachsmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Bartl in the 30th minute of play. Hartmut Gauweiler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fritz Reininger having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Botho Walz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. HainSenSİN's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Botho Walz scored to the left of an out of position Fritz Reininger, making the score, 3-0. Joschi Cramer hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hartmut Gauweiler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Hartmut Gauweiler sped through HainSenSİN's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fritz Reininger. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonius Pütz in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fritz Reininger saved HainSenSİN from getting behind. Antonius Pütz struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Fritz Reininger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for InterWerder. Fritz Reininger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hartmut Gauweiler's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. When Antonius Pütz, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 70 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Fritz Reininger was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 73 minutes into the game, Ralf Haag cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Fritz Reininger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 82 minutes of play, InterWerder's Antonius Pütz made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fritz Reininger was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fritz Reininger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hartmut Gauweiler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. HainSenSİN's Fritz Reininger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonius Pütz in the 94th minute of play. Dietrich Töpfer charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dietrich Töpfer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 97 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for HainSenSİN! Fritz Reininger went to the wrong direction when Herbert Unsöld was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. InterWerder walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
