Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) InterWerder's Hartmut Gauweiler started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Bischofsried booed when InterWerder was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joschi Cramer didn't get a good kick on the ball. InterWerder's Igli Wachsmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinhard Stecher in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th match minute, Bischofsried was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olivier Heuer to maneuver through the defense. Igli Wachsmann came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Bischofsried's Witold Rackbier. But to his dismay, Witold Rackbier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 15 played minutes Bischofsried got a freekick which was hit by Witold Rackbier. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hartmut Gauweiler in the 16th minute of play forced Bischofsried's goalkeeper Montgomery Haßelmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonius Pütz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Montgomery Haßelmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hartmut Gauweiler in the 25th minute of play. Montgomery Haßelmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hartmut Gauweiler in the 30th minute of the match. A hard shot 33 in the game by Witold Rackbier from a close distance when the talented Igli Wachsmann managed to make a qualified save. InterWerder's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, InterWerder's Botho Walz got a free kick in the 35th minute. Reinhard Stecher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igli Wachsmann having to interfere. InterWerder's Igli Wachsmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinhard Stecher in the 44th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

If Reinhard Stecher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rd minute, Witold Rackbier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 56 in the game by Antonius Pütz from a close distance when the talented Montgomery Haßelmann managed to make a qualified save. Bischofsried's players were relieved. A collision led to InterWerder getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Joschi Cramer hit a great ball. In the 67th minute, Witold Rackbier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Igli Wachsmann was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After a rather tough play, InterWerder's Joschi Cramer got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 70th match minute, Bischofsried was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Günther Marder to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Günther Marder during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 78 played minutes Bischofsried got a freekick which was hit by Günther Marder. 79 minutes into the match, Bischofsried's goalkeeper Montgomery Haßelmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonius Pütz. 2-1 became the score in the 81st minute when Hartmut Gauweiler elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonius Pütz got free with Montgomery Haßelmann in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Igli Wachsmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinhard Stecher in the 88th minute of the match. Igli Wachsmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witold Rackbier in the 89th minute of play. Reinhard Stecher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hartmut Gauweiler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Montgomery Haßelmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
